We have traveled with our dog many times. Well, how we do it now, is about to change. We took it for granted that when you arrive somewhere you let your dog out. It seems obvious now, but I had not thought to check the area for your dog's safety. Is there broken glass around in the grass?

It never occurred to me to find places on our trip just for our dog's entertainment too. We will be looking for stops at an actual dog park and use some of the suggested apps, to make those potty stops on long trips fun for our fur baby as well. We have a first-aid kit for humans, why have we never made one for our four-legged family member?

There were quite a few eye-opening things in this book that we never considered. I thought we were good puppy parents, but we are now going to be even better ones.
